For many years this was the Chisel Cafe. Early in 2015 it reopened as “Top Nosh”.
For the movie the building retained its yellow colour and the cafe was renamed “The Yellow Diner”. Red diner-style bench seating was installed along one section of front windows so filming could take place from inside looking out to the street.

Although the “Top Nosh” name has been reinstated, the red bench seating remains, as does one “The Yellow Diner” sign. (These photos were taken early morning before sunrise.)
