The main section of the “On The Spot” convenience store, known locally as the Tapanui Dairy, became “The Ice Cream & Soda Shop” with the right-hand shop frontage turning into “Rosie’s Flower Shop”

The advertising in shop windows themselves was changed to reflect the American look. The local Millhaven paper was also available.
